The recruitment test of the second phase of Agrani Bank’s senior officer post scheduled to be held this afternoon has been postponed amid an allegation of the question paper leak.
A total of two lakh job seekers have applied for the senior officer posts.
Second part of Agrani Bank recruitment test has been postponed following reported question paper leaks.
The authorities concerned scrapped the recruitment exam after a report was published in the daily Prothom Alo on Friday noon. The report reads a number of jobseekers claimed that the question papers given to them for recruitment test and the ones that were leaked contained similar questions.
The job aspirants then alleged that the question papers were leaked on Thursday night.
“The test scheduled to be held at 3:30pm has been postponed due to unavoidable reason,” Aftab Uddin Mahmud Chowdhury, assistant professor of banking department of the Dhaka University, told the media.
Most of the questions were matched with the original question paper of the recruitment test held around 10:00am, the examinees seeking anonymity told The Media.
