Miss World 2017 Has Been Dying To Answer This Question
Miss World Manushi Chhillar Has Been Dying To Answer This Question Which No One Has Asked Her Yet!
Manushi Chhillar is on cloud nine and she has all the valid reason to be, after all she is the Miss World 2017. Ms Chhillar brought back the crown of Miss World after 17 years and made us immensely proud. Ever since her big win, everyone is talking about her. In fact she was grandly welcomed at the Mumbai airport at midnight too.
Indiatimes got an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Miss World and trust us, she was just fabulous.
The first question we asked was what is that one question she has been dying to answer which no one has asked her yet. To our surprise she said,
“A lot of people have been asking me about my engagement. I am supposed to be engaged with someone, so actually I have been dying that someone should ask me about my engagement, because it’s even in Wikipedia page and it’s quite funny because I don’t even know who this person is, but I wish people would have asked me about it.”
My first press conference in #India post the @missworld pageant was so much fun. Got a chance to interact with numerous media houses at @stregismumbai. Thank you @taruntahiliani for this beautiful outfit. So finally, she cleared the air and answered, “Do I look engaged? I am 20 year old”. Later she sarcastically said, “I actually want to meet this fiancée because he has made my parents life much easier”. Well, Miss Chhillar was in a chill mood to respond to all our queries.

Talking about turning her dreams into reality, she said, “It has been the most incredible journey, I just cannot explain that feeling when I was crowned as Miss World. It was beautiful and I felt like whatever I was dreaming was actually falling in place”.
Manushi is a medical student, no medical student have this dream of becoming Miss World, but she had, “ I was studying medicine, but I also knew that I wanted to be Miss India and Miss World, but I never knew that it will unfold like this. Becoming a doctor and Miss World is my dream come true.”
I can't wait for this. I'll see you there folks!!! EXCITED! #Repost @missindiaorg (@get_repost) ・・・ India is invited to celebrate @manushi_chhillar's win at @missworld 2017. She is also a beauty with purpose, yes, Manushi started the campaign of menstrual hygiene in rural areas which is currently a big hit.
We asked Manushi what made her take this up, she explains, “ While growing up I saw a lot of incidents, I felt very bad to see poor menstrual hygiene , and I as a female, instantly got connected with it.
I have visited many rural areas where I felt extremely bad to see the lack of awareness on not using sanitary pads during their menstruation, because it’s not available in shops or they feel ashamed to buy it. I was blessed to have a family like this and get all the facility, so I thought someone should be there to help them and I took over the responsibility.”
