Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s ‘Doob’ to release on 27 October
Doob: No Bed of Roses’ will release both in Bangladesh and India on 27 October.
Jaaz Multimedia owner Abdul Aziz on Tuesday told the media Irrfan Khan will arrive in Dhaka on 25 October to promote the film.
Irrfan will then take part at a programme and will join in the opening show of the movie on 27 October, he added.
Indian actor Irrfan Khan plays the lead role in ‘Doob’, a co-production of Jaaz Multimedia and India’s Eskay Movies along with Irrfan’s IK Company.
Abdul Aziz also said the film will be screened in 100 theatres in Bangladesh and in 200 in India.
We are now discussing the release with film distributers in Australia and Singapore. If possible, the film will be released there, as well.”
The trailer of the film will be out in the next two weeks, the director also informed, adding that the only song of the film, and other promotional material, will follow. The film’s premiere will be attended by Irrfan Khan, and a contest is in the pipeline for the general audience to attend the premiere with the cast and crew.
The film also stars Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Rokeya Prachy and another Indian actor Parno Mittra.
