Nokia 3310 launched in India
HMD Global has officially launched the modern avatar of iconic Nokia 3310 in India today. Priced interestingly at Rs 3310, the device would go on sale via offline retailers from May 18, Thursday. The Nokia 3310 will come in four color variants – Gloss finish Warm Red and Yellow, and Matte finish Dark Blue and Grey.
Announcing the Nokia 3310 in the country, Ajey Mehta, VP-India, HMD Global said “Talk all day on a single charge, send texts, take pictures and enjoy a pocket jukebox with a built-in FM Radio and MP3 player. Our reinvention of this classic design is sure to make you smile. It’s got everything you remember, but with a modern twist. So whether you’re after a feature phone that offers amazing battery life in a head-turning design or a companion phone, the Nokia 3310 won’t let you down.”
The Nokia 3310 was revived earlier this year in February 2017 at MWC alongside Android smartphones by HMD Global. The company has given a modern day revamp to the iconic feature phone from the past. The company claims to keep few trademark features on Nokia 3310 intact such as the durability and virtually everlasting battery life.
Nokia 3310 Features and Specifications
The new Nokia 3310 comes in dual SIM variant and requires microSIM. Other connectivity features on the device include micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM. It houses a 1200mAh battery which the company claims offer a Standby time up to 25.3 days, talk time up to 22.1 hours and MP3 playback up to 51.0 hours. It also has an inbuilt FM Radio.
Nokia 3310 has a 2.4-inch QVGA color display offering 240X320 pixel resolution. It runs on Nokia Series 30 platform and also features the legendary Snake game with refreshed design. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the rear panel with LED Flash. The phone has an internal storage of 16MB which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
