How to hide burn scars with make-up.
Beauty has different definitions and sometimes, our imperfections become our most attractive features. Truth remains that none of us have a perfect skin, of course exceptions exist but most of us suffer from skin issues like pigmentation, acne, stretch marks and some even have burn marks.

Pick up a silicone primer :
Primer is the base of foundation and allows the make-up that follows to seem smoother and long lasting. While it comes in forms of creams, gels and powders, it’s best to use a cream-based primer when looking at hiding burn marks.
Pick any primer that consists of a buildable coverage formula (most primer creams have these). Since most scars have a different texture and tend to stand out from the rest of the skin, it’s mandatory to use a primer as it helps in making the area even.
A silicone-based primer can fill in the uneven spots and make the skin look smooth. All you need to do is pick a drop of primer cream and spread it over the scar with your fingertips or a make-up brush.
You just need a colour corrector to hide burn scars :
Colour correctors can prove to be the best pick if you have a small scar. Opt for a rich and creamy corrector that offers a higher coverage power. Light green corrector is the perfect pick to hide red burn scars on Indian skin, Pick a yellow corrector if your scar has a blue tint and use a lavender corrector if your scar is yellowish in nature.
Now go for a concealer :
After applying the color corrector, top it up with the right concealer. A thick, creamy concealer works best to conceal burn scars. Choose a water-based formula to ensure it is not affected by the harsh weather. Pat a little concealer over the scar and use a make-up brush to blend it.
Pick up a foundation :
It’s best to use a foundation matching with your skin tone after you have used a primer, a colour corrector and a concealer. But if you have picked up a creamy primer and a collector, choose a water-based foundation. Even a powdered foundation would help. Just a little brushing up could bid goodbye to your ugly scar.
Face powder :
Don’t have a colour corrector and a concealer and still want to hide the scar? Well, all you need to do is use a translucent face powder that goes with your skin tone after applying the primer and the foundation and you’ll be surprised to see the results.
