This show is produced by Gul Khan and Karishma Jain under 4 Lions Films production and Star India distributor. The story is about an evil Daayan.

This the first supernatural horror show of Gul Khan. After successfully released Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, producer Gul decided to make another show with Smita Bansal. She takes a statement, “I am excited to be part of a project that challenges me to think outside my comfort zone. I have waited for 2 years to play a role like this and I am very grateful to the makers for getting me onboard for the show.”
On 7 Jul 2018, a teaser of Nazar was released on Star Plus YouTube channel, where show a Daayan moving her hair. Antara Biswas said about her role, “I have been looking at doing a half-negative role for a long time now. As an actor, I want to experiment with different shades. As for television, doing a daily was on my bucket list. But never did I imagine that I would get a break in such a grand way.”
