Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have become husband and wife. The couple got married today in Mumbai at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s heritage bungalow called Rockdale in Bandra.
A post from Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea reveals that the actress’ wedding ceremony is done and that she is now Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja.

Kapoor and Ahuja met through their common friend, designer Pernia Qureshi, a couple of years ago. Kapoor had always maintained silence on her relationship status and kept it under wraps.
After dating for two years, actress Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja got married. The ceremony took place according to Sikh traditions.
Just like the star-studded mehendi ceremony which happened at Sonam’s pad in Bandra on Monday, the wedding of the Khoobsurat actor saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance.
After the couple takes the wedding vows, the Kapoor and the Ahuja family have planned for a grand reception in the evening at The Leela Hotel, Mumbai. Here the guests will be seen in western formal dresses.

Sonam Kapoor, who won an Indian National Award award for Neerja, donned a traditional red and gold lehenga by designer Anuradha Vakil for her big day. She paired it with heavy jewellery and chooda (a set of red bangles worn by a Punjabi bride).
A bevy of Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sonam’s colleagues Swara Bhasker and Kareena Kapoor and her best friend Jacqueline attended the Anand Karaj ceremony in the morning along with the family members.
